How we earn

Some of the outbound links on Longevity Graded are affiliate or referral links. If you follow one and start a program or buy a product, Longevity Graded may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. You pay the same price you would have paid arriving any other way; the provider simply shares a small cut with us for the referral. That revenue is what keeps the reviews free to read.

Bottom line: you pay nothing extra, and those commissions fund the work.

Where the money shows up on the scorecard

Straight answer, because the mechanics matter here: affiliate partners are listed first in the graded list, ahead of the providers we hold no commercial relationship with. That placement is what our funding moves, and we would rather print it than leave you to work it out.

What it does not move is the letter. Every provider on the scorecard is graded on the same rubric, computed from that provider's own published terms — the marks printed on its row — and the calculation is not given, and cannot read, whether a provider pays us. That is not a statement about our intentions; it is a property of the code, and it is why paid providers turn up in every grade band we publish, the lowest one included.

The facts are unmoved too. A price we report is the price the provider publishes — and where a headline turns out to be a prepay term, an introductory month, or a figure that only resolves after checkout, we print the real one instead. Unflattering findings about a paying provider stay in.

Bottom line: money buys position on the page and nothing else — read the order as a placement, and the letter as the verdict.

What no commission can buy

We take no payment to review, re-grade, or feature a provider, and no company gets to preview or approve what we write. Whether a provider has an affiliate program has no bearing on whether — or how honestly — we cover it: if the evidence says a well-paying provider falls short, the write-up says so — and the grade says so too, because the grade is computed from the provider's published terms and has no input for who pays. What the relationship does bear on is placement: affiliate partners are listed first, so read the top of the board as a commercial position and settle it on the letter and the marks we print beside it.

Bottom line: nobody buys a kinder write-up or a better letter — but the first slot is a paid one, and we label it.

The relationships behind the links

Our affiliate links are largely routed through third-party affiliate networks, which handle the tracking and payouts between the providers and us. From time to time we may also take part in direct partner programs or display general advertising. Whatever the arrangement, the standard on this page applies to all of it, and clearly commercial links are treated as advertising.

Bottom line: the funding channels vary, but the independence rule doesn't.
